Sarvodhya Kendra

Sarvodhya Kendra is an organization which is working on rehabilitation of villages in Gujarat.
In the past, they had been actively involved in constructing water supply structures (it's a salty
water zone). Sarvodhya kendra is looking for VIDE to provide financial aid for reconstruction of
homes in 'Balasari' village in Bhachau taluk in the Kutch district for 82 homes destructed by Gujarat earthquake along with a small medical clinic, a school, a way for educating the villagers about family planning, and providing alternate employment opportunities for the villagers. The villagers are salt production laborers who need to be trained for other kinds of employment.

VIDE provided $10,000 to date for the above mentioned project, further evaluations on where
VIDE can help is under progress.
