Welcome to VIDE - Volunteers for India Development and Empowerment. VIDE is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to the development and empowerment of India.

To work for India Development in the areas that give sustainable advantage.
To work with local communities to empower them.
To help victims of natural disasters with Relief and Rehabilitation.

VIDE focuses on innovative and strategic solutions to some of India's most
pressing problems. VIDE's projects have been in such diverse areas as education, health care, livelihood generation and disaster mitigation. Our goal is to empower grass-roots organizations to become centers of service excellence.

Our organization provides an open, positive environment and platform to work for India development. It respects regional cultures and languages in the states it is working in. VIDE works on principles to manage the diversity of India. It encourages all its members to take up initiatives and leadership roles.

We encourage people to contribute their time, money, knowledge, and skills for India in any way they can. One of the goals of VIDE is to network many people around the world who can help India develop.

VIDE is incorporated in the state of California as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions to VIDE can be claimed towards 100% tax-exemption under VIDE's EIN 76-0726182.
